One clear report.

An automated review scorecard for HoneyFire Barbeque Co., Nashville

JBowman Creative built HoneyFire Barbeque Co., a three location restaurant group in Nashville, an automated Review Scorecard that checks all six review platforms across all three restaurants, then emails one simple report every two weeks. The system is live and delivering today, reading 3,451 reviews across 12 listings directly from HoneyFire's own public profiles, no logins, no spreadsheets, nothing for anyone to remember.

The challenge

HoneyFire asked for one thing: stop making someone check six websites by hand, every two weeks, for three restaurants. Four problems sat underneath that request.

  • Nobody was checking all of it. Six platforms across three locations means twelve tabs. In practice a manager checks Google, occasionally Yelp, almost never the delivery apps.
  • Delivery ratings were invisible. DoorDash and Uber Eats sit behind merchant portals nobody opens on a schedule.
  • Locations could not be compared fairly. A location with 1,394 reviews and one with 17 cannot be compared by eye.
  • No cadence meant no accountability. No fixed report date meant no before and after, and nothing to hand a general manager.

What we built

A system that runs itself every two weeks, anchored to the client's actual payroll cycle:

  1. Schedule check decides if today is a report day.
  2. Fetch pulls every configured listing, with each platform catching its own failures.
  3. Aggregate computes period and lifetime averages the same way for every location.
  4. Render builds a self contained email that reads the same on a phone as a desktop.
  5. Send delivers it straight to the owner and general managers, with every reading appended to a permanent history.

The key insight: a public star rating barely moves and hides real problems. Leading with the average of reviews received in the period instead surfaced two real issues in the very first report, a location whose in period rating was nearly a full star below its public rating, and a location whose delivery reviews ran a star and a half behind its dine in reviews.

The results

  • 4.37 stars, the company wide average for the most recent reporting period
  • 12 of 12 listings live and returning clean data
  • 3,451 reviews under continuous management across all three restaurants
  • Every 14 days, a report sent automatically with zero clicks from anyone
  • About 137 hours a year of manual reporting work returned to the business

Questions about automated review reporting

What is an automated review scorecard?

A system that checks every review platform a business is listed on, on a fixed schedule, and emails a plain summary report with no dashboard login required.

How is this different from just checking Google reviews?

Most businesses are reviewed in more than one place. The Review Scorecard checks all of them on the same schedule and reports them side by side, so a delivery problem never gets mistaken for a dine in problem.

Can it handle multiple locations and delivery platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats?

Yes. Built for multi location businesses, covers delivery platforms alongside review sites, with each location weighted separately.

Does anyone have to log into anything to see a report?

No. Reports go out automatically every 14 days, anchored to the client's own payroll cycle. Nothing to log into, it arrives by email.

How can my multi location business get something like this?

JBowman Creative builds this exact reporting system for multi location businesses reviewed in more than one place: restaurant groups, franchises, dental and medical practices, gyms and studios, home service brands, hotels.
