Four times the inquiries. Six to one on ad spend.
Website, SEO, branding, Google Ads, and social media for Flying High Again, a Middle Tennessee flight school
JBowman Creative rebuilt the entire digital presence of Flying High Again, a flight training school in Middle Tennessee founded in 2018 by Sean Amos: a new website, a new brand and logo, local SEO, Google Ads, and social media, run as one program for two years. Over that time inbound inquiries more than quadrupled, sales doubled, and the ad campaigns returned six dollars in sales for every dollar spent.
- Inbound inquiries
- 4x
- Return on ad spend
- 6 to 1
- Business growth
- 2x
- Weekly conversions
- 10x
- Working together
- 2 years

The challenge
Flying High Again had thousands of hours of instructor experience and a fleet of modern aircraft, and almost none of it showed online.
- An outdated website. No clear navigation, no search optimization, and nothing that made a prospective student want to book a discovery flight.
- No consistent brand. The logo and visuals did not reflect the school's mission, which made it hard to build a community of pilots and enthusiasts around it.
- Ads without tracking. Earlier campaigns had no clear performance measurement, so return on investment was low and customer acquisition was limited.
- Low search visibility. Weak SEO meant a shrinking number of inquiries from people actively searching for flight training in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
What we built
One program across every channel, built in order so each piece fed the next:
- Website redesign and development. A responsive site with streamlined navigation, persuasive calls to action, and faster load times, written to lead a visitor from curiosity to a booked call.
- Search engine optimization. Keyword research targeting local intent, on page and technical SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and citation management for Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
- Branding and graphic design. A new logo, visual identity, and brand guidelines, then sales and marketing collateral and social assets built on them.
- Google Ads. Campaigns targeted to pilots and aspiring pilots in the region, with continuous keyword refinement, ad copy testing, and audience targeting aimed at return on ad spend.
- Social media. A content strategy built around education, student success, and the local flying community.
- Tracking and reporting. Every campaign measured in one real time dashboard, with regular reports on ad spend efficiency.
The results
- Inbound inquiries more than quadrupled over two years
- 6 to 1 return on ad spend across the Google Ads campaigns
- Sales doubled, in the owner's words, revenue doubled
- Ten times the weekly conversions and closed sales
- A brand and website that position Flying High Again as a leading flight training provider in Middle Tennessee
Since partnering with them, we've doubled our revenue and seen a 4x increase in inbound inquiries, results that speak for themselves. Their strategic approach to marketing and advertising delivered a 6:1 return on ad spend, which far exceeded our expectations. We're not just seeing more leads, we're seeing better leads, and a much stronger brand presence overall.
Questions about the Flying High Again project
What did JBowman Creative do for Flying High Again?
A complete rebuild of the school's digital presence: website, brand and logo, local SEO, Google Ads, and social media, run as one program for two years.
How did Flying High Again get four times the inquiries?
By fixing the order. The website and brand were rebuilt first so the traffic had somewhere to convert, then local SEO and Google Ads brought pilots and aspiring pilots to it, with every campaign tracked in one dashboard and refined on the numbers.
What does a 6 to 1 return on ad spend mean?
For every dollar spent on Google Ads, the campaigns returned six dollars in sales. It comes from precise audience targeting, ongoing keyword refinement, and ad copy written for the person actually searching.
Does JBowman Creative work with flight schools and other niche businesses?
Yes. The approach is the same for any business with a specific buyer: understand the industry deeply enough to write for it, then build the website, search, and ads around how that buyer decides.
Can I read the full case study?
